LIV EAST

Saturday 26th April at 93 Feet East

Liv East is an East London songstress bringing us a honeyed fusion of Neo-soul, house, and R&B. Liv’s musical career started in 2019, working alongside Hackney's grassroots label Root 73 (also home to the Silhouettes project) on a collaborative hip-hop/neo-soul EP. Later that year, she released the soulful dance track "You're My" on Defected's well-known disco label Glitterbox—a balmy summer anthem that has soared past an impressive 4 million streams. Fast forward to today, and it continues to receive support from house music dons such as Moodymann and Jayda G.

Then there’s “I Miss Having Someone To Talk To” (2020), another dose of buoyant grooves elevated by Liv’s distinctly fluid delivery. Produced with Folamour and released on his FHUO label, the track currently sits at over 7 million streams.

Post-pandemic, Liv’s solo track "Kitchen" gained support from BBC Introducing, followed by the dance hit "I Need You" with KOLIDESCOPES. Her latest release, "Love Frequency," showcases her versatility, featuring top London jazz musicians. Liv’s genre-defying journey earned her a spot on the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition longlist.
