Born in Detroit and based in Atlanta, she launched Underground and Black to amplify Black millennial voices in electronic music, expanding it into a blog, party series, and NTS Radio show.
She has played global hotspots like Panorama Bar, Printworks, and Movement Detroit, sharing stages with legends like Moodymann. RUBY SAVAGE
Since relocating from her hometown Amsterdam to London in 2007, Ruby Savage spent over a decade working behind the scenes in independent music. Starting behind the counter of London’s renowned Honest Jon's Record store, she deepened her musical knowledge and record collection with an extended love for soul, jazz, disco, dub and dance music. In 2016 her stewardship as label manager at Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings became instrumental to the label’s growing success and served as a stepping stone into DJing as she joined Worldwide FM’s early roster of radio hosts. In 2017 she moved to NTS Radio where she continues to present her Radiant Life show every third Saturday of the month. Ruby is also host to a monthly segment on Tokyo’s J-Wave 81.3 FM radio, connecting Japanese audiences to heritage and contemporary sounds of London. As a DJ, Ruby has performed at leading clubs across the UK, Europe including Corsica Studios, Koko Electronic, Phonox, Djoon, Panorama Bar, La Paloma, Doka, Kaiku, Basic Club. She also frequently returns to Brazil and Oceania for their club and festival seasons. In 2024 she was invited to programme and host a month-long residency at NT Loft and made her Glastonbury festival debut at the San Remo stage.
SHY ONE
Mali Larrington Nelson AKA Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets and productions. Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One has been exposed to and influenced by the full spectrum of sounds her hometown of London has birthed and nurtured over the years. As with many young Londoners at the time, grime and the wider family of indigenous London club music was what gave Shy One the passion to pursue music as more than a pastime. Obsessively collecting white labels by some of her local production heroes quickly developed into obsessively making beats in Fruity Loops for a handful of local MCs bubbling up in Harrow, the North West London borough she grew up in. Undeterred by those in the scene who called her beats “weird” or “different”, Shy One ploughed on carving out her own sound which eventually caught the ear of Scratcha DVA, who went on to release the Decaffeinated Love EP and her debut LP, Bedknobs and Boomkicks, on his now renowned DVA Music imprint.
ISAAC CARTER
London-based Isaac Carter, a DJ and Producer with an imposing musical heritage, is the DJs DJ. Exclusively his, Carter’s captivating sound has echoed through the hallowed grounds of esteemed venues such as DC10, KOKO, Phonox, Village Underground, Venue MOT and Fabric. With an acclaimed Rinse FM residency under his belt, Carter’s blend of Deep Chicago and Detroit House dexterously infused with contemporary UK dance is Unmistakeable. Under the backdrop of North-West London, Carter started making music as a child, honing his eclectic palette under the watchful eye of his diverse city. In 2023, Carter launched his record label Ochi, a name inspired by his Jamaican heritage. With a plethora of renowned releases to date, Carter’s star is very much on the rise.
KOJAY
KOJAY is an ever-growing name on the London DJ scene, known for his versatile mixes via his RInse FM residency as well being head-honcho for the new event "OONTS" which is also the name of his Rinse show. He's been known to tear up dancefloors at the likes of Fabric, Corsica, KOKO and Pickle Factory, with his deep & soulful sounds taking influence from his family's musical roots.
